In the article it’s told how
the growth of the Indian economy has been a very prosper one, and
nowadays it’s still increasing. The fact the this increase it’s
happening it may be misunderstood as the growing enrichment of the
country as a whole. The case it’s that the development it’s only
being held by the rich percent, which it’s a 10% of the total
population in India.
India it isn’t the only
country with this increasing inequality among the citizenship,
countries such as Russia and China, this last one decades ago, are
also in the same circumstances. This inequality is usually developed
in countries in which the move from the more conservative and
straitlaced economies to the more liberal and ‘market’ economy.
But it’s also true that this inequality its tending to increase all
over the world due the globalization, even though there are countries
that are trying to resist this trend.
What shocked me the most about
this article it’s actually the causes that initially made all this
inequality possible since I knew beforehand the current economic
situation in India.
